ABOUT


Jemma Orchard is a singer, performer, clarinettist, saxophonist, teacher and musician. Jemma graduated from a Bachelor of Music degree in 2018, and they endeavour to take their music to the highest level.
Jemma has an immense passion for being a performer. During their school years, Jemma was a part of the Australian Girls’ Choir (AGC); where they had weekly rehearsals, music camps, Winter Showcases and Annual Concerts. Jemma also participated in a number of other performance opportunities with the AGC. They performed as part of the QANTAS Choir at various events; with the popular Irish musical ensemble: Celtic Woman; at ‘Woolworths Carols in the Domain’; at several TV events such as Channel 7’s Sunrise; and entertained various crowds with Christmas Carols at many shopping centres around Sydney.
Jemma has played the clarinet for 17 years and has performed in many bands. Jemma enjoys singing and playing varying genres including Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova, Soul, Pop, Folk, Country, Music Theatre, Classical and more.
Jemma has also participated in many Talent Shows, Competitions, performed for Western Sydney University, Liverpool City Council, City of Ryde, City of Parramatta, and the popular online platform ‘Sessions LIVE’. Jemma continuously creates covers for their social media platforms surrounding various artists and genres.
Jemma works as a Voice, Clarinet and Saxophone teacher. They help to motivate students of all ages, inspiring them to reach their full potential by sharing their love for music. Jemma loves teaching and using music to help others. They have volunteered for many charities including The Rotary Club and Dementia Australia.
Jemma currently volunteers with 'Good Life Chorus' Community Choir as the Assistant Conductor; which has a special focus on people with Early-Mid stage Dementia and their carers. Jemma enjoys volunteering and loves performing in Aged Care and Retirement homes.
Jemma has a great passion and dedication to music, and they hope to continue to inspire and touch people's hearts through their craft.
